Summary
The Manager of Digital Experience Technologies will lead and direct a team of employees and
contractors tasked with the implementation, modernization and support of mission critical customer
focused products. Working closely with Customers, Sales, Consultants and Developers, is responsible
for the creation, deployment and management of systems and software that enhance the relationships
between the organization and its customers. This role will oversee the day-to-day development and
support of our Customer Portal, Customer Relationship Management system, Content Management
System and other technologies that support the Sales and Marketing functions.
Essential Functions

• Supports the development of a strategy for establishing and sustaining Sales, Marketing and
Customer Experience systems across the organization including evaluating the company's
current sales, marketing and customer experience systems / operations (both non-computerized
and computerized workflow), and identifying areas where efficiency and effectiveness can be
improved through the use of technology solutions.
• Collaborates with other IT managers and business leaders to ensure that the company's systems
support the overall strategy and goals of the organization.
• Acts as a technical expert, addressing problems of infrastructure, systems/applications
integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
• Manages application and/or infrastructure development projects to ensure compliance with
enterprise architecture.
• Provides assistance to other divisions and departments on changes, new applications and related
issues; reviews and evaluates requests for new services, hardware and software.
• Leads department and interdepartmental project teams and works cross-functionally to improve
processes within the organization.
• Prepares project-phase plans and implementation schedules, plans and conducts meetings and
workshops relative to these project plans, and communicates project status reporting to all levels
of management.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and that project deliverables are met.
• Plans and prepares documentation of the development and functioning of operational systems.
• Writes descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify
systems.
• Ensures delivery of a scalable infrastructure compatible with business needs across applications,
technologies and facilities.
• Develops and maintains business relationships and integrates activities with other business
units/areas and to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
• Demonstrates in depth understanding of the business areas supported to determine specific
business requirements.
• Communicates highly technical aspects of technology and integration effectively to a non-IT
audience.
• Leads the design of new functionality to modify and extend existing applications and functionality
using appropriate technologies.
• Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and identifies short-term and long-term issues to
improve or create complex systems by applying leading edge technology.
• Responsible for master data conversion, and integration between systems.
• Prepares service, equipment and software bid requests; develops requests for proposals; writes
specifications; evaluates received bids, monitors performance of equipment and contracted
services to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensures the integrity and security of all information systems.
• Manages a team of developers and ensure that they are professionally trained and motivated to
perform their job responsibilities.
• Implements a successful vision/strategy, through strong leadership skills.
• Plans workforce requirements and assigns, monitors and reviews the progress and accuracy of
assigned work.
• Motivates team members to achieve results.
• Provides timely performance input, create sound development plans for each employee and
provides necessary coaching.
• Stays abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the field of Information Technology and
ensures the continuous improvement of applications and that the company's technology systems
support the overall strategy and goals of the organization.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety
regulatory considerations and ensuring the understanding and compliance by all subordinates.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Develops, coaches and mentors peers, indirect and subordinate staff.
• Trains and develops others in technical complexities of assigned work.
• If accountable for the work of others, conducts performance evaluations; reviews and
communicates salary adjustments; rewards employees or takes disciplinary action, as necessary;
addresses complaints and resolves issues.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of IT management, applications programming or systems analysis
experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• network management, application development, middleware, database management, business
intelligence or operations reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
• Experience with TCP/IP networking protocol and concepts (HTTP, Firewalls, Proxies) , data
security to include Oauth, serverless architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud computing
concept.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a diverse, high performing team.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Comfortable managing projects and budgets.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training,
meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the
time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if
applicable, as listed in this job description.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Management and Digital Technologies (MMT), Computer Science or
Information Systems and Technology.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
• Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or
Management of Information Systems.
• 8 years of IT management, applications programming or systems analysis experience to include
experience in a manufacturing or operations environment with demonstrated business results
reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM), Content Management
Systems (CMS), Shopping Cart Technologies, B2B Portals
• Experienced with SaaS platforms, middleware tools, identity and access management tools
• Professional Project Manager (PPM) certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Experience in a high-growth organization.
• Understands the concepts, principles, practices and operational characteristics of emerging
technology in assigned area of responsibility.
• Effective communication skills and ability to negotiate and forge relationships with a variety of
departments, vendors and clients.
• Balances management acumen with information system knowledge.
• Understands local and wide area network concepts, firewalls, proxies and data security.
• Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting the most complex documents.
• Experience responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Experience making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or
complex topics to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.

Compensation
Hiring Salary Range: $121,800 - $152,200
Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
