Summary
The Engineering intern will be embedded in the Engineering team to work on cutting-edge projects that
blend mechanical design, process engineering, and data-driven problem solving while learning from
some of the best in the field. Our interns use creativity and strategic thinking to make a positive impact
while learning hands-on skills needed to successfully navigate the modern workplace.

Essential Functions

• Perform engineering assignments under the mentorship of senior staff.
• Take ownership of special projects with real business impact, including closure testing device
design and cork coating optimization.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainability
goals.
• Assist in day-to-day team activities while building technical and professional skills.
• Maintain reliable attendance and professionalism.
• Follow all applicable quality, environmental, and safety requirements

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED from accredited institution.
• Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable,
as listed in this job description.

Preferred Qualifications
• Currently enrolled at a college or university with a junior or senior class standing and working
towards a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Comfortable with data analysis and experimental design.
• Effective at following technical guidance and collaborating within a team.

Compensation

Hiring Hourly Rate: $23.50 

Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
