Summary
Under minimal supervision, loads and unloads trucks, inspects incoming parts for freight damage. Moves
raw materials or finished goods and other commodities in specified locations of warehouse. Submits and
inputs data via keyboard, barcode scanner or written sheets to control inventory movement. Pulls raw
materials or finished goods cases using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory
transactions. Responsible for inventory count and labeling. Works independently between multiple
warehouses and campuses as needed.
Essential Functions

• Works on a broad range of direct and indirect tasks, from simple to complex, across multiple
campuses as needed.
• Loads and unloads various types of freight.
• Works within the Warehouse Management System to receive and ship loads (including Swisslog,
Softeon, SAP, etc.)
• Performs cycle counts through WMS reports on a frequent basis as required and supports
inventory control.
• Troubleshoots warehouse management system and inventory issues.
• Process outbound and inbound shipments and paperwork, are completed timely and accurately.
• Maintains all safety standards, 5S principles, GMP, and PPE requirements, Lean (where
applicable). Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Communicates across shifts to shift leader (and team, as applicable) to ensure proper work
transition.
• Conducts standard audits daily utilizing safety checklist, taking corrective action as needed (i.e.
checking oil and charging forklift).
• Records quality outcomes using established forms.
• Inspects inventory for defects.
• Demonstrates teamwork within a diverse team, working closely throughout each shift.
• Follows and practices all established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Supports and practices all established safety programs and policies.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety
regulatory considerations.
• Operates equipment to move goods/material handling
• Loads and unloads inbound and outbound inventory onto freight containers, cargo trailers, and
rail cars as needed by location.
• Operates multiple types of equipment such as floor scrubber, pallet jack, etc.
• Attends and participates in company committees such as Safety Committee.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of experience in material
handling and forklift driving; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus
current Forklift Certification and 1 year of G3 experience in material handling and forklift driving.
• Ability to obtain FLD certification within 30-60 days of employment.
• Required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Experience with handling various sizes of palletized product.
• Required to work 8 hours shift with the ability to work 12 hour shifts, day or night shift, on multiple
campuses as needed.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus current Forklift Certification and 4
years of experience in material handling and forklift driving.
• Experience with Clamp, Double fork, and Pull Pack Fork Lift attachments.
• Experience loading and unloading rail cars.
• Experience with electric stand-up lifts.
• Skilled in comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence and memos such as email.
• Experience conveying simple requests and needs to coworkers and management.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Skilled in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Experience with using company resources in a cost-effective manner.
• Experience reading and interpreting documents such as BOL, instruction sheets, safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Experience with working in a team environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit on a lift truck and drive
in and out of vans and containers. The employee is occasionally required to handle or feel; reach with
hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and
move up to 50 pounds and clean-up any leaking or spilled liquids caused by broken containers that they
were responsible for moving. Specific vision requirements are peripheral vision, depth perception, and
focus adjustment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally exposed to outside weather
conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently
exposed to moving parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The work
environment may not be temperature controlled and potential exposure to natural weather conditions.
Compensation
Hiring Hourly Rate: $24.71 - $29.04
Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
